The Junior League of Ogden invites you to Run for the Roses, our Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser with a goal of raising $20,000 to support the development and empowerment of women in our community.
Put on your colorful pastels and eye-catching hats and join us for an evening of fun, food, and philanthropy. Enjoy delicious bites, a live DJ, a silent auction, our signature horse race, and exciting tournament games
Your support helps fund impactful programs like the Oasis Community Garden and the Jr. Junior League of Ogden youth program.

The Cause
At the heart of our mission is the belief in the transformative power of women’s leadership and our commitment extends to expanding opportunities for women’s leadership in all aspects of life – be it in our community, personal endeavors, or professional spheres.
Today’s members are developing leadership skills through trainings and these current community impact projects:
- Oasis Community Garden, a 1.7-acre garden located in downtown Ogden created to improve the community by targeting issues of food equity through education and access to fresh produce, and providing a space for the community to gather, grow, teach, and learn.
- Jr. Junior League of Ogden is a free-of-cost program that prepares young women to be leaders in our community. Girls in 5th-9th grades receive leadership training, positive mentorship, civic engagement, and volunteer opportunities.
